Federated Family Credit Union serves
all Federal employees (and families) who work or reside in the state of
Wisconsin. Immediate family
members (i.e., spouse, children, parents and grandchildren) are also eligible to become a member of our credit
union.
Once a member, always a member.
As long as you maintain a share account (with a $25 minimum balance) and remain an active
member, you're always welcome to belong to Federated Family Credit Union -- even if you change jobs, move or retire.
Serving members since 1934.
Our service is backed by our commitment to your financial well-being.
We're proud of our excellent record of service to our members since 1934. Each
FFCU account is insured to at least $100,000 by National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), a U.S. Government agency.
Our Mission
Federated Family Credit Union is here to serve our members' needs in an efficient,
professional and most of all, friendly manner.
What is a credit union?
Credit unions are member-owned, cooperative financial institutions. Credit union members are both owners and "customers."
Besides being welcome to take advantage of the savings accounts, loan programs and all the economical services we offer, each member has the opportunity to vote in the annual election. As a credit union member, you benefit directly by being able to share in our profits, which are returned to members in the form or higher dividends for savings, lower loan rates, lower fees, and expanded services.
Members in good standing are eligible to elect the credit union's board of directors. Your directors are volunteers
-- members like you -- who outline and enforce the credit union's operating policies. These policies are carried out by a president and staff hired by the board. The board meets regularly to review operating issues and financial performance information. They also set our rates and fees. They determine the characteristics of the services you use as a member, always keeping in mind their responsibility lies in representing the best interests of the membership rather than themselves.
Your deposits in Federated Family Credit Union represent your "shares" in our organization. After expenses are paid and reserves set aside, the net income earned from interest on loans and investments is returned to you as dividends.
